R.I.P. Whitney Houston, Dead at 48; Suicide, Foul Play Suspected: Details

R&B singer and Pop diva icon Whitney Houston, 48, has been found dead at the Beverly Hilton hotel in California.

Houston was reportedly found on the scene by paramedics, who tried to revive Houston with CPR, but they were unable to bring the singer back.

Whitney Houston, known for her amazing vocal range and ballads, was pronounced dead on today (February 11, 2012) at 3:55PM.

Houston leaves behind teenage daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, who lived with the singer after Whitney divorced ex-husband and Kristina’s father, R&B singer Bobby Brown.

At this time, Whitney Houston’s cause of death has been reported as unknown, although there is speculation circulating around foul play. Other reports are claiming the singer may have committed suicide due to previous reports of the singer being photographed with her wrists slashed.

As of yet there has been no statements from her family regarding cause of death.

Whitney, reportedly received more awards than any other female singer in history, according to MusiqQueen.com.
