President Bush speaks at Cannon Center in Downtown, Memphis

For those who haven’t already heard, the President of the United States, George Bush, is scheduled to speak live at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Memphis, TN tomorrow to raise public support for his plans for overhauling Social Security. This is just one of many stops for the President’s “conversation on Social Security” cross-country tour. For those interested in attending, tickets for the event are being handed out by citizens’ groups interested in Social Security. Part of the president’s plan calls for letting younger workers set up personal retirement accounts with a portion of Social Security taxes.
