Power Rangers Actor Ricardo Medina Arrested, Allegedly Killed Roommate With Sword

One of the actors from the Power Rangers, Ricardo Medina, Jr., known in the TV series as the Red Wild Force Ranger aka Cole Evans on Power Rangers Wild Force and as Deker on Power Rangers Samurai, was arrested after allegedly fatally stabbing his roommate with a sword.

According to authorities at the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, the 36 year-old actor was involved in an alleged argument with his roommate, Joshua Sutter, 36, which at some point got physical.

Police say Sutter allegedly forced his way into Ricardo Medina’s bedroom where he and his girlfriend were and that’s when Sutter was stabbed by Medina with a sword that he had in his room.

Sutter’s wound wasn’t immediately fatal, but he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Ricardo Medina, who actually called 911 to report the incident, was arrested on a charge of murder and given a $1 million bail.
