Playa Fly and Minnie Mae Muzik present The First Annual South Parkway Day at South Parkway Park in South Memphis, TN this weekend.

“Fly will defintely be performing for the first time since his release,” stated Joseph Ivy (representative for Playa Fly) to MemphisRap.com early Thursday morning. As far as what songs, past or present, that Playa Fly will be performing, no information was available except that the “Undergound King of Memphis” has a good performance planned so you’ll just have to be in South Memphis, TN this weekend to find out or logon to Memphisrap.com after the event.

This will also be a Welcome Home and Birthday Celebration for Playa Fly who was just recently released from prison in June 2006 and has been working on his highly anticipated sixth album release “Mafia All Day” since his release.

The Playa Fly album, “Mafia All Day” is expected to be released sometime this Fall/Winter 2006. The album will be released under the Minnie Mae Muzik imprint, in association with Dee Money Entertainment. There is also talks of a Playa Fly promotional tour.

“South Parkway Day” will be held this Saturday, September 2, 2006.
