Operation Blue Crush nets 47

Memphis Police Organized Crime Unit continues operation Blue Crush, a drug sweep throughout the City of Memphis.

Last week, the Memphis Police Organized Crime Unit went on a citywide drug sweep. They arrested over 30 people and have other indictments pending. The MPD has admitted to using informants and undercover officers in these stings.

Police Director, Larry Godwin is quoted as saying “They don’t know whether they can deal on the street. And they can’t deal in the house because we’re going to keep kicking doors down.”
