A Duncan, Oklahoma teen has been charged with a triple murder after he confessed to killing his father, mother and his 17 year-old sister all allegedly to pay off a $3,000 debt to a loan shark.

According to authorities, the family’s housekeeper discovered the bodies of 50 year-old John Hruby, an Oklahoma newspaper publisher as well as his wife, 48 year-old Tinker Hruby and their teen daughter, Katherine Hruby.

After the shocking discovery of the three bodies in their upper middle class home, the housekeeper dialed 911.

Police took into custody the fourth member of the family Alan Hruby after the teen returned from an OU/Texas game which he traveled to attend in Dallas allegedly right after murdering his family. Alan Hruby chronicled the trip over social media site Twitter.

The 19 year-old Alan Hruby confessed to stealing his father’s 9mm gun which he used to shoot his own mother twice after she appeared to be still alive when he shot her the first time.

When his sister ran into the kitchen where the shooting took place, that is when Alan shot her once.

Alan then waited around and an hour later, the 19 year-old shot his father to death when he returned home. Following the murders, the teen left for Dallas to attend the OU/Texas game.

Alan Hruby has since been charged with three counts of first degree murder.

The reason the teen reportedly killed his family was because they were planning to cut him off financially from his uncontrollable spending and the teen thought that if he would murder his family, he would be the only one left as the heir of their estate. The teen believed that he could then use the estate money to pay off a $3,000 debt to a local loan shark company.
