Nor’easter takes seven lives and leaves 300,000 in the dark

The nor’easter that’s pounding the Eastern Seaboard hard has claimed 7 lives, and left 300,000 people without power. Out of the 7 deaths, 5 was from falling trees.

The heavy rain and wind storm along the Eastern Seaboard are causing flooding and the toppling of trees.

This caused the power to go out because of the severe, hurricane-like, winds that toppled the power lines Saturday.

Even though some residents have had their power restored, it was still expected that a few would go without power for a couple of days due to the weather condition.
