From the rumors stemming, it seems that two unknown men may have walked up to the rapper after he was exiting a barbershop in Memphis and shot him in the leg two times, before running away. Jack Frost was supposedly, checked into a hospital, and tended by family and friends as well as business partner and Rap Hustlaz label mate, Kinfolk Kia Shine.

Master P is reportedly releasing a new book entitled “Guaranteed Success” which is about his endeavors on Wall Street in the financial parts of the Billion Dollar Hip-Hop Industry.

Newly inked in deals or in talks with the growing company are ‘Underground King of Memphis’ Playa Fly, artist and Inevitable Records label boss Yo Gotti, new boss player Mac Goo, Pastor Troy and Lil’ Flip, along with former Three 6 Mafia members Crunchy Black, Koopsta Knicca, Gangsta Boo, Indo G, T-Rock and the list goes on and on. “It’s official, Crunchy Blac and Gangsta Boo are with Prophet Camp and the new Prophet Posse Camp mixtapes and albums are coming soon to put Memphis back where it belongs,” stated Nicky Scarfo, founder of Prophet Entertainment, in a recent talk with MemphisRap.com.

Jay-Z’s latest release Kingdom Come is expected to debut at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart next week, giving the rapper his 9th #1 album. Kingdom Come is estimated to move 850,000 copies the first week in stores, giving the New York rapper this year’s best selling CD in one week.

Memphis-native actress Elise Neal (Hustle and Flow, Scream 2) is now producing her own projects and her musical career. Her group, Assorted Flavors, recently recorded a song with New York rapper 50 Cent.

Lady Gangsta Boo, the disputed Queen of Memphis, is returning with a new album entitled Forever Gangsta scheduled for a 2007 release. The new single “Stacks on Deck” has already been concreted into slang and daily conversations of trend-setters throughout the South.
