A new exhibit is in Memphis taking place at the Pink Palace Museum opening up a conversation about racial differences.
The exhibit is showing information based around the idea that there is not much difference between people of different races.
Though several Memphians and others have experienced racism, the exhibit opens up conversation and looks at race through three different lenses: history, human variation and lived experience.
The eye opening exhibit on the differences of races is titled “Race: Are We So Different.”
The exhibit opened at the Pink Palace Museum on February 1st, 2014 and is set to run up until Sunday, May 4, 2014.
Visit understandingrace.org for more information and to check out the virtual exhibit tour.
