New ‘Indiana Jones’ Movie Buzzes At Box Office


Harrison Ford stars in new Spielberg-George Lucas movie ”Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” which released in movie theaters Thursday. The movie is already off to a early buzz at the box office.

If you don’t know about Indiana Jones, then where have you been? Indiana Jones (played by Harrison Ford) first appeared in the 1981 film “Raiders of the Lost Ark” which was followed by “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” in 1984, “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” in 1989, and “The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles” from 1992 to 1996. Now after a 19-year break from the big screen, Indiana Jones is back in 2008 with its latest box office movie “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” which is expected to make a box office record. The new Indiana Jones flick made its grand opening on Thursday gaining a slew of reviews from movie critics and fans who couldn’t wait to view the adventure/action movie.

Currently analysts are reportedly predicting that the latest Steven Spielberg-George Lucas movie could break the all-time record of $174 million over the holiday weekend and will be giving “Iron Man” a run for its’ box office record which raked in over $400 million-dollars making it the biggest movie for 2008.

The movie “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” stars 65-year-old actor Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf, Cate Blanchett, Karen Allen, Ray Winstone, John Hurt and Jim Broadbent.
