Nas’ announced during a performance at New York City’s Sneaker Pimps event on October 12, that his new album will be called N---a.
As reported by Billboard, during his performance at New York City’s Sneaker Pimps event on October 12, the rapper announced to the crowd his new controversial album title.
The new disc is the follow-up to the Queens-bred rapper’s Def Jam debut, Hip-Hop is Dead – an album that stirred up plenty of controversy amongst many notable Southern rappers. According to Nielsen’s SoundScan, that album has since moved 743,000 units.
No release date has been set for the N-Word album, however, Nas’ Greatest Hits disc will hit Shelves on Nov. 6th.
