Anti-war group, MoveOn.org and AFSCME launches a new Iraq ad ”Not Alex” which they hope will get the truth out about Republican and Presidential hopeful John McCain.

A new Iraq ad “Not Alex” by anti-war group MoveOn.org and AFSCME is seeking to get the truth out about Republican and Presidential hopeful John McCain by airing an ad, both nationally and in Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin, starting tomorrow. The ad which stated to be a preliminary testing, conducted by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research shows a young woman telling McCain that if he’s counting on her toddler Alex to be apart of the 100 years in Iraq he can’t have him.

According to Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research ‘Not Alex’ ranks among the most persuasive ads the pollsters have reviewed in the last four years.

“Hi, John McCain, this is Alex,” a young woman, sitting on a couch with a baby, says in the video ad spot entitled “Not Alex.”

“And he’s my first,” she continues. “So far, his talents include trying any new food and chasing after our dog. That, and making my heart pound every time I look at him. So, John McCain, when you said you would stay in Iraq for 100 years, were you counting on Alex? Because if you were, you can’t have him.”

“Voters need to know Sen. McCain would continue President Bush’s failed policies
