MLGW Works Outages As Memphis Weather Storm Leaves Thousands Without Power

With scattered thunderstorms being reported throughout the Mid-South, MLGW is reporting that over two-thousand customers are without power in Memphis.

Areas on the Memphis, Light, Gas and Water (MLGW) map show most customers affected are near by the Memphis International Airport area and in Germantown and Cordova area.

According to the Weather Channel, Memphis is set to have scattered thunderstorms throughout the rest of the day as well as tonight.

Thunderstorms are also expected throughout this entire weekend and going into next week.

The city is predicted to see sunny weather again next week on Wednesday.
