Actor Mini-Me, “Verne Troyer,” known for his role as Austin Powers recently checked himself into rehab for alcohol abuse according to reports.
In 2002 the actor was stated to have nearly died from alcohol poisoning when his wife left him after only two months. Hopefully, he’ll get himself together before the bottle destroys him. Since he’s now out of rehab he’s doing outpatient therapy.
You can catch the actor on the VH1’s “Surreal Life: Fame Games” where ten alumni of the show’s prior seasons compete in a ten-week elimination competition that takes place in Las Vegas. The winner of the competition will be taking home $100,000.
Season 1 of “Surreal Life: Fame Games” which premiered January 7, 2007 included contestants Emmanuel Lewis, Traci Bingham, Ron Jeremy, Vanilla Ice, Brigitte Nielsen, Joanie Laurer, Sandy Denton, C.C. Deville, Andrea Lowell, Jordan Knight and Verne Troyer “Mini-Me”.
