Mosha Heason, mother of a 5 year old boy, wants some answers to why her son was found walking down the highway after school.
Heason said that she contacted his school to tell them to put him on the 87 bus to take him home, but apparently there was some misunderstanding. But Tipton County School Operations Director Rickey Fayne said that Heason never contacted them regarding her child.
As policy states, in order to change a child’s bus schedule, one would need to write a note which would then need the Principal’s signature. Fayne said that there was no note or letter of any sort on file regarding the rescheduling of the boy’s drop-off point.
The boy was found by a cousin who so happened to be driving down the highway.
