MemphisRap.com, Memphis’ largest music and entertainment website, will be one of ten websites in the running for Website of The Year at the 2007 Southern Entertainment Awards.
Hailed as the event to celebrate the best in independent urban entertainment in the south, the Southern Entertainment Award winners are determined by votes from fans and Industry people who log onto the SEA’s website. The SEA’s represent those responsible for contributing to the growth of southern music and also highlight the accomplishments of DJ’s, Producers, Recording Artists, Labels, Retail Stores, Models, Graphic Designers and Clothing companies throughout the South.
“It is a great honor for MemphisRap.com to be nominated for a Southern Entertainment Award,” said Charla Littlejohn, Co-founder of MemphisRap.com. “This nomination puts us among some of the other great sites on the internet. This is great and I’m glad that many have thought so highly of us and we appreciate everyone who nominated us and those who have voted and will be voting for us.”
The 4th annual Southern Entertainment Awards will take place January 25th-28th at the Grand Casino Resort in Tunica, MS. The weekend long event will host a number of activities ranging from a Music Conference headed by music mogul Wendy Day of Rap Coalition, Swisha House Meet & Greet, a welcome party presented by Devin Steel, The Trappers Ball presented by Lil Larry, The Aphilliates and Warner Brothers, and much more.
