Memphis Musicians Come Together to Record an Album to Benefit Haiti


A Memphis-based record label known as JEA Right Now Records will be releasing new music titled A Message From Memphis: A Healing Song For Haiti in hopes to help with Haiti’s rebuilding.

There were more than 40 Memphis recording artist including Kirk Whalum, Alexis Grace, David Porter, the Bar-Kays, J. Blackfoot and Wendy Moten that contributed to the record’s success.

The song will be made available May 11 at www.amessagefrommemphis.com or you can purchase it at record stores May 18. So let’s go out and support the artists who worked hard on this song.

All of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross in the efforts of helping Haiti rebuild.
