Memphis Movement Organizer Launches ”A Better Memphis”

Local Memphis residents now have a new place they can come together and address the needs of the community.

Due to the fact that crime, ethical and moral issues in the city of Memphis and county are at an all time high, a website has been created for use by the citizens of Memphis and Shelby County to voice their thoughts, opinions, concerns and solutions for the city and county in which they reside.

This site was put into action by the same people that brought you the Raleigh-Frayser Block Party for Peace as well as The Memphis Movement and other community oriented events and solutions, Mr. Antonio “2 Shay” Parkinson. Mr. Parkinson and his colleagues feel that the residents of Memphis and Shelby County should come together with one voice in addressing their needs, concerns and possible solutions. www.abettermemphis.com is the vehicle to do just that.

“There’s no particular topic… information that people submit will go to organizations oriented to help that particular problem or interest. What might be going on in Raleigh may be the same thing going on in South Memphis. We’ll know by what people submit on the website,” stated Antonio “2 Shay” Parkinson to MemphisRap.com
