Memphis Events News: Sade & John Legend Performance At FedExForum

Grammy Award winning group Sade who started touring in Europe, the UK, and North America in April, will be performing in Memphis, TN on Friday, July 29, 2011. The band led by Nigerian born smooth R&B singer Sade Adu born Helen Folasade Adu is being joined by singer John Legend at the FedEx Forum for her North American leg of the tour.

The tour in the states started on June 16 in Baltimore and is Sade’s first concert tour in 10 years.

Sade’s tour is in support of the 2010 album “Solider of Love” which sold 2.3 million copies and their compilation album “The Ultimate Collection” which was released May 3, 2011.

“The Ultimate Collection” includes hit singles such as “Smooth Operator”, “No Ordinary Love,” “Soldier of Love” as well as new tracks.
