Memphis Break-in Leaves One Suspect Shot By Homeowner

Monday night, a Memphis homeowner’s house in the Raleigh area was broken into by 3 teenage burglars, but they did not know that one of the victims in the house had a gun and was ready to protect themselves and property.

“Things in your house can be replaced, but you can’t replace a life,” says Jessica Wilson, reported WREG, the sister of 29-year-old Jeremy Wilson, one of the residents who was in the home at the time of the burglary and the one that actually shot one of the burglars in the process.

Reportedly this is not the first time the Wilson’s home has been broken into. Two months ago, Jeremy Wilson reportedly found another would-be burglar’s hands on their TV.

The 18 year-old suspect in this incident was reportedly shot in the arm and was taken to the nearby hospital.

The other two suspects are apparently still at large and the police are asking for help.
