“So many artists today are influenced by Bone, and they may not even realize it.” That’s what the the R&B singer/diva Mariah Carey had to say regarding working with the Cleveland, Ohio rap group known for first appearing nationwide with hot single “Thuggish Ruggish Bone” off the 2x Platinum selling album “Creepin on ah Come Up”. Carey goes on to say that she and other artists owe a debt to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony because their influence is so widespread in rap and hip-hop.

Carey recorded a track with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony for the group’s comeback album, Strength and Loyalty, which is due out April 17, according to the group’s label rep.

Carey also recorded track “Lil L.O.V.E.” with rapper Bow Wow.

Carey is currently shooting for a new movie entitled “Tennessee” in and around Albuquerque, New Mexico, last month.

Mariah Carey’s next album is due this fall.
