Rappers Ja Rule, Remy Ma, Lil’ Wayne, and Busta Rhymes were all in a Manhattan courthouse on last Wednesday, albeit for separate cases. In each case, the Grammy-nominated defendants were given new court dates.

Ja Rule, AKA Jeffrey Atkins, was arrested in July on weapons charges after police found a loaded gun in the 31-year old’s Maybach. He is due back in court on Dec. 5.

Ja won’t be alone, however, because 26-year old Remy Ma, born Remy Smith was also ordered to return to court on Dec. 5 to face charges of assault (shooting a chick over some money) and witness tampering.

Lil’ Wayne, born Dwayne Carter, was also arrested for gun possession and is to reappear in court on Feb. 25. The 24-year old was arrested after he and Ja Rule performed at a Manhattan concert.

Jury selection will begin on Jan. 23 for Busta’s assault and DUI charges. The 35-year old, whose real name is Trevor Smith, allegedly assaulted a fan and a former employee in addition to driving drunk with a suspended license.
