The mega-church World Changers Church International in College Park, Georgia ministered by Pastor Creflo Dollar, has suffered from a shooting, which left one dead and the suspect — a former employee — still being sought.

The suspect is stated to have gotten away in his vehicle, according to Fulton County police Cpl. Kay Lester and was still at large at 11 AM Wednesday morning, but has since been arrested.

Floyd Palmer, 52, a former church employee who resigned in August was arrested in Buckhead at the Lenox Square in Atlanta, GA around 4PM for the death of Greg McDowell, 39, who was taken to the hospital were he later died.

According to one of the church members, a Wednesday morning service was taking place at 10AM. At around 10:30, McDowell was leading prayer when he was shot by Palmer, who allegedly ‘calmly’ walked in the church, starting shooting then ‘calmly’ walked out.

Creflo Dollar was not at the church when it took place, state authorities.

World Changers Church International, started by televangelist Creflo Dollar, is located south of Atlanta and has a congregation of about 30,000 with a number of satellite churches across the United States.
