Ludacris and NBA Seattle SuperSonics Damien Wilkins To Host Free Concert

Rapper Ludacris co-founder of Disturbing tha Peace and NBA Seattle SuperSonics forward, Damien Wilkins, have teamed up to host a free concert, “The Ludacris & Friends, Strength in Numbers Concert,” to help bring focus on the positive development of the community.

Rapper Ludacris co-founder of Disturbing tha Peace and NBA Seattle SuperSonics forward, Damien Wilkins, have teamed up to host a free concert, “The Ludacris & Friends, Strength in Numbers Concert,” to help bring focus on the positive development of the community.

The concert will be held on Sunday, September 2nd, 2007 in Atlanta and will bring out a number of performers from the DTP roster including Ludacris himself, Chingy, Shareefa and Def-Jam songwriter/singer Ne-Yo. The event will also include guest appearances by NBA stars Kevin, Durant (Seattle SuperSonics guard/forward), Rashard Lewis (Orlando Magic small forward ) and Ray Allen (Boston Celtics shooting guard).

In addition to the free concert, an after-party will be held The Opera Nightclub located at 1150 Peachtree St NE in Atlanta, GA. Donations will be taken at the door for “The Ludacris Foundation” and “The Damien Wilkins Foundation”.

The Ludacris Foundation is a non-profit organization designed to inspire youth to live their dreams, uplift families and foster economic development in the community.

The Ludacris Foundation includes a team of 11 hardworking individuals with an average of twenty years of professional experience ranging from corporate executives of Fortune 500 companies, legal, healthcare and finance fields, as well as the music industry. These individuals have come together as a team sharing the same passion and concern for young people.
