The winners of the 4th Annual Southern Entertainment Awards has been announced.

The winners of the 4th Annual Southern Entertainment Awards has been announced. This year`s 65 winners, nominated by fans across the globe for the year ending 2006 were named in a ceremony that took place at the Grand Casino Resort Event Center in Tunica, MS on January 28, 2007.

Steered mostly by founder Jesse Johnson a.k.a. DJ INFAMOUS and co-founder Janiro Hawkins the awards spanned over 4 days which included 2 days of successful free panel conferences directed by music mogul Wendy Day, plus 2 days of parties held both in Tunica and Memphis by DJ’s, promoters and nominees.

Winners for the awards ceremony included Smallz with “#1 DJ In The South,” Princess Cut, who received “Female DJ of The Year,” Streetmasters “Urban Magazine of The Year,” Nakia Shine (Kinfolk Kia Shine) “Indy Rap Artist of The Year,” Chad Brown “Record Promoter of The Year,” E-feezy “Radio DJ (Mixer) of The Year,” DJ Drama “Mix-tape DJ of The Year” and a number of other individuals and companies. Multiple awards were awarded to Drama and B-Lord.

The awards ceremony which was hosted by Florida native Solo and others will be airing on television station CW between the end of February and early March. No exact date has been determined.

Nominations for 2008 begins in May and ends August, 2007.
