Rapper Lil Wayne may have run into a bit of debate with the Miami Heat, but the rapper has love for the Memphis Grizzlies and rallied behind them at a recent playoff game where he was photographed at the FedEx Forum for the 2013 NBA Playoffs Game against Oklahoma City Thunder.
Wayne tweeted about the game calling it a ‘dam good game.’
Ain’t nothin but a whole lotta luv out here in Memphis!! And dat was a dam good game that’s what the playoffs all about!
— Lil Wayne WEEZY F (@LilTunechi) May 11, 2013
Rocking his TrukFit clothing line/apparel the New Orleans rapper was seen sitting court-side at the FedEx Forum and later photographed with Memphis rapper Yo Gotti who was also attending the game.
Along with rappers Lil Wayne and Yo Gotti, the game was also attended by well-known Grizzlies supporter and Memphis hip-hop producer Drumma Boy.
Although Tunechi aka Weezy’s reported team is Los Angeles Lakers, the Lakers were swept in the first round by San Antonio who is now facing Golden State. So it seems the rapper doesn’t have a problem showing love elsewhere.
Meanwhile, four games in, the Memphis Grizzlies are leading 3 games to 1 against OKC.
