A legless man was arrested in Brooklyn trying to out-drive the NYPD. This getaway was ‘made for the movies’ and Danny ‘Charles’ Marcus had his play in it.
Danny ‘Charles’ Marcus was arrested in Brooklyn, New York after he helped two robbers in Park Slope getaway after robbing a man at approximately 12:30 in the morning on Saturday.
Danny ‘Charles’ Marcus, 40, an ex-con reportedly sat waiting on the robbers in a white van while the robbers named Raheem Roberts, 21, and Darnell Cade, 35, robbed a 42 year-old man.
The two accused of robbing the 42 year-old man stole a MetroCard, some keys and just $40 dollars after putting a gun to his chest.
So how did Danny ‘Charles’ Marcus drive the car? Of course, with special hand controls on the steering wheel.
The trio were later caught by police after they spotted the vehicle near Flatbush and Atlantic in NY.
In the car, the police discovered, to their surprise, a legless Danny ‘Charles’ Marcus, a wheelchair and a 9mm handgun.
Marcus was charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of stolen property.
