At first the rapper Kia Shine that brought us hits like “Stunt Glasses At Night” (the song that coined the term ‘Stunna Frames’), told listeners that they must quote “Respect My Fresh,” now this turn around Shine says “Respect My Grind” and can you not? From BET’s Rap City and Black College Tour to XXL to Ozone Awards back to the BET Hip-Hop Awards in ATL ‘Trap City according to Kia Shine’ to the Superbowl, the Memphis rapper/producer Nakia Shine of the Rap Hustlaz crew has been doing what he says ‘is trying to make it happen’. Now, Shine is back with new single “I Be Everywhere” featuring Jim Jones ‘Capo’ just to emphasize why everyone should ‘Respect his Grind.’

“Down in ATL Snap City/It’s Really Trap City/But I Didn’t Tell You About the SuperBowl/In Detroit Last Year We Was Super Cold/Me And Jones Blowing Super Dro/And We 50 Yard Line in My-A-O/And Ima .. Out in Vegas/Show Ya’ll That These Memphis Boys Ain’t Nothing To Be Played With/Last Year There Was A Problem In Houston/My Songs Bumping Houston/Like Pimp C Produced Them” is just a taste of what to expect.

When asked about what’s current with the rapper/producer, Kia Shine told MemphisRap.com that he just finshed the BET Black College Tour and will also be in XXL’s 2007 Allstar “Show and Prove” January edition. “I’m working on the ‘Respect My Grind Vol. 1 The Cush CD/DVD.. in stores January 23rd and working on the major label debut with Universal/Motown album ‘Due Season’ right now.” says Kia Shine to MemphisRap.com. Kia continues to say that he’s working on an EMI release for Rap Hustlaz entitled “Swag Music” due March 20th, 2007 and already working on “Respect My Grind Vol 2” also for Rap Hustlaz.

In related news, it also seems that the rapper/producer is also preparing to make a debut into film as well as Kia tells MemphisRap.com that he’s also got a couple of movies in the works with Rap Hustlaz associate and business partner Jack Frost.
