Kendrick Lamar is allegedly back at it again throwing shots at rapper Drake rapping a verse on a partially leaked hip hop cypher for 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards, which is scheduled to air October 15.
In the verse, Kendrick Lamar takes aim at hip hop artist Drake with, “…and nothing’s been the same since they dropped ‘Control’ / and tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes / Hah hah joke’s on you, high five I’m bulletproof / Your sh-t never penetrates / Pin-the-tail on the donkey, boy you been a fake.”
Kendrick Lamar referenced Big Sean’s single “Control,” which he’s featured on and gained him a lot of attention due to name-dropping a number of Industry artists, and included Drake, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, A$AP Rocky, amongst others.
According to October’s Very Own Drake, who recently took the top spot on the Billboard’s 200 after releasing his “Nothing Was The Same” album, he knows that Kendrick is not murdering him at all.
Drake goes on to say that Kendrick is not murdering him in any platform and when the day comes to present itself, the topic can be revisited he told Billboard.
