Kanye West ‘Speaks’ About Arrest For Vandalism at LAX in LA


Rapper/producer Kanye West speaks about his arrest for smashing a paparazzo’s camera on Thursday at LAX airport in Los Angeles, California.

Rapper/producer Kanye West was arrested earlier Thursday at LAX airport in Los Angeles, California for smashing a paparazzo’s camera. The incident was caught on camera and shows Kanye along with his road manager, Don Crowley, in a physical altercation with a TMZ photographer/videographer.

As of Thursday, Kanye was released from jail on $20,000 bail, and has now briefly spoke about the altercation with the paparazzi members writing “We back in the lab!!! I’m cool with the paparazzi. This guy wasn’t cool. I gotta work now.”

Kanye added, “I’ll rant later!”

According to TMZ who wrote, “It was the bodyguard, not Kanye that broke our cam (retail value: $7000),” Kanye West could not be charged with felony vandalism because he only broke a light unit worth $100 and in the state of California felony vandalism can only be charged when the damage is over $400.

West before the incident was scheduled for a flight to Honolulu, Hawaii where he reportedly is now, but is due in court on October 2.
