Memphis, TN singer and Pop/R&B star Justin Timberlake incorporates a bit of Memphis hip hop street style dancing, Memphis Jookin, into his new video “Take Back The Night” along with other slick moves he’s known for.
The new music video, which has an interactive promotion to coincide with it, has sparked a new twitter hash tag #TAKEBACKTN, which gains fans access to exclusive content via the music star and actor’s website.
Allegedly the song title is gaining some controversy by the organization National Organization for Women (NOW), which is a sexual-assault awareness foundation that uses the same name for it’s rally “Take Back The Night.”
So far, Justin Timberlake is taking back the night or should we say music charts in his latest video which shows the singer dancing on the streets, shot mostly on Doyers St in New York City’s Chinatown.
The song “Take Back The Night” comes from off Justin Timberlake’s latest album The 20/20 Experience.
To catch Justin Timberlake doing a bit of Memphis Jookin in his street style dancing, peep out the video below.
