Many women who had negative thoughts about rapper and hip hop artist Juicy J’s “twerkin” college scholarship may now have a change of mind when they learn the details of the winning biology college student of the contest that was recently announced.
Zaire Holmes, 19, of Florida actually did not twerk to win the Juicy J $50,000 college scholarship because the contest actually did not require twerkin.
After reading the rules of the contest, Holmes realized she didn’t have to twerk at all.
Meanwhile, dozens of women submitted twerkin videos shaking all they had and more, all in the name of EDUCATION. Well they have now surely been educated.
Contestants were judged on their “assets” and creativity. And we guess, reading. Those between the ages of 18 to 25 and currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year accredited college or university could enter.
Some critics may now have a different view of Juicy J’s scholarship contest, after the biology student who did not twerk at all, was awarded the $50,000 college scholarship.
Still, those who submitted their twerking videos may not be so happy to learn they shaked it all for nothing. Well, not really.
Like they say… reading is fundamental.
