Juicy J tells the real about the solo thing, Columbia Records, getting shelved as a group and more in a glimpse of what’s to come in part 1 of an interview titled Driven.
Being one of the legends who helped contribute to the Memphis rap music scene, the one-half of Three 6 Mafia also spits truth and lets people know you can’t get business done just being high all the time and more.
The rapper says that he does get super trippy, but he handles business.
“A person couldn’t be around and still be stable and be able to stand on their own two feet if they weren’t smart. If I got high all the time, mayne, shhhhh, I wouldn’t be sitting right here with yall … I’d be somewhere in the hotel room …”
Juicy J also speaks on his coined term “trippy” and how he put it in motion.
“Now everybody trippy… we trippy…. trippy. I did this in 2010…. this amazing to me… I was high when I came up with it,” said Juicy J.
