Steve-O, co-host of the MTV show Jackass, plead guilty for cocaine possession. The star has been ordered to rehab for two years.
The co-star of the hit MTV show, at that time, was arrested for investigation of vandalism and drug possession at his home in Hollywood, which followed a dispute with a neighbor over a fence. Soon after his arrest, Steve-O was hospitalized for psychiatric treatment at the Thalians Mental Health Center after friends physically removed him and forced him from his house to check in. Reportedly he was placed on a 72 hour psychiatric hold that lengthened to 14 days due to an alleged suicide attempt.
On Tuesday, the prankster made a plea deal and plead guilty. According to his attorney, Barry Gerald Sands, it will dismissed only if he completes a drug rehabilitation program.
“He is already in a program as we speak,” Sands said.
