Is America Ready For Marvels New ‘Captain America’ As A Black Man

Marvel Comics says it is time for a new Captain America and has announced that the new Captain America will be a ‘black man.’

Set to become the new Captain America will be none other than Captain America’s longtime partner, Sam Wilson aka Falcon.

Playing the character of Falcon, who will become the new Captain America, is actor Anthony Mackie, who played Falcon in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Steve Rogers can no longer hold his mighty shield and will be handing it to his trusty partner to carry it on across the battlefield as the new Captain America.

Though there have been many replacements for Steve Rogers aka Captain America, this will be the first time his replacement will be a person of color in the Marvel Comics for Captain America.

The new Captain America film is expected sometime in 2016.
