Interview with Free Sol, New Hip-Hop Group of Justin Timberlake’s Tennman Records

Over this past weekend Deanna Brown host of MemphisRap.com’s M-Town Talk column, interviewed hip-hop/soul/rock group Free Sol, who is signed to Justin Timberlake’s Tennman Records.

Over this past weekend Deanna Brown host of MemphisRap.com’s M-Town Talk column, took time out and stopped by the Hard Rock on Beale to check out Free Sol who is signed to Justin Timberlake’s Tennman Records and caught up with them to do an interview.

The event started out with Tetanus, a new rock band that opened for Free Sol, and featured two of Free Sol members (Teddy on the drums and Elliot on the guitar). Free Sol performed next bringing along their high energy and style a blend of hip-hop, rock and funk, which is what makes them who they are and the reason they’re signed to Justin Timberlake’s label.

Free, the lead of the band, sat down and spoke about what makes them different than other groups; when they will begin recording a new album with Justin Timberlake starting April 14th; about the Memphis music scene; and where they are headed with their music.

Check out the interview posted at Deanna’s blog at https://memphisrap.com/content/blog/deannabrown/.
