Husband Charged With Murder Of Karen Denise Thomas & Dumping Wife’s Body In River

More than a week after the news of the death of Karen Denise Thomas, her husband Terrence Thomas, 33, has admitted to strangling and killing his wife after the body was found on last Thursday.

Karen Denise Thomas, 31, a 95 lb mother of two, was reported as last being seen on October 11 and was reported missing by her husband on October 12. Terrance Thomas claimed Karen Thomas had left out for the night without informing him on where she would be going.

Karen Thomas’ 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer was later found at the Garden Ridge store on Summer Ave with no sign of Thomas.

Family and friends remained hopeful and continued to search for Karen throughout the weekend.

Unfortunately, on last Thursday a passerby saw a nude body face-down in the Loosahatchie River which was identified as that of Karen Thomas.

Following the confirmation and identity of the body Thursday, on Friday, Terrance Thomas admitted that he strangled Karen in the bedroom of their home located in the Raleigh area and dumped her body from a bridge off Watkins St.

Terrance Thomas was charged with filing a false missing persons report and first-degree murder.

This is not the first time Thomas has been in trouble with the law. In July of 2011, Terrance Thomas was charged with aggravated assault and child abuse and neglect.

  1. This is so crazy, I feel like if she did not want this baby she could have give it away to another family member and If she had to take a 5 years old to school, she should have taken the 3 year old and he 7 week old along with her, I mean that’s just common sense……dumb, dumb I hope she gets the death penalty.
