The self-proclaimed King of the wresting ring, Jerry “The King” Lawler has bought the Batmobile and is opening up the Jerry Lawler Museum at Resorts Casino in Tunica.
The national wrestling sensation known greatly for his wrestling matches with comedian Andy Kaufman and wrestling greats like Bill Dundee, Tommy Rich, Jimmy Valiant and Hulk Hogan, later became a WWF host and action-caller with the WWE.
Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007, Lawler is definitely known as one of the greatest to have ever done it in wrestling and now plans to fill a new museum with his memorabilia from over 43 years in professional wrestling.
In 2009, “The King” ran for Memphis Mayor finishing 5th in place, so there’s no secret that Jerry Lawler is a hardworking entrepreneur and even after a heart-attack, which he suffered on last year, Lawler has not slowed down it seems.
As far as the cool new ride, Jerry Lawler posted up a tweet of his new Batmobile that he plans to drive to his new museum for the opening on Saturday, August 24, 2013.
