Hip Hop Summit Taking Action

The Hip Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN) was founded in 2001. The nonprofit organization is dedicated to harnessing the cultural significance of Hip Hop music, and promotes education and other social issues that relate to the at risk youth throughout the United States. The HSAN has been holding events promoting its cause since its formation. The organization also focuses on freedom of speech, voter education, economic advancement, and youth leadership. All of these issues are in dire need of attention in the urban community.
