Following the shooting in Hollywood, California of Memphis rapper Young Dolph born Adolph Thornton Jr., 32, who is currently recovering from multiple gunshot wounds, a known affiliate of fellow Memphis rapper Yo Gotti was arrested in connection with the shooting.
Corey McClendon, 43, was booked Wednesday on an attempted murder charge by Los Angeles police pending investigation.
McClendon was held for 48 hours on a $1 million bond as the sole suspect reported so far in the shooting of rapper Young Dolph, which occurred on Tuesday in front of a prominent Hollywood hotel.
McClendon has since been released without any charges pending “further investigation”.
Meanwhile, Young Dolph, who was first reported as being “in critical condition” is said to be recovering fine after later being listed “in stable condition”.
