New Pimp C Biography To Shed Light On The Late UGK Rapper/Producer’s Personal Life

A new biography of the late UGK rapper Pimp C is set to shed some light on his personal life and untimely death.

The new biography is being penned by former Ozone Magazine publisher and editor-in-chief Julia Beverly.

Under the guidance of Pimp C’s mother and manager Weslyn “Mama West” Monroe, Beverly is set to bring the entertainers personal life and career to the forefront.

Beverly has interviewed more than 250 people for the upcoming biography.

Pimp C, real name Chad Butler, was found deceased in a upscale Hollywood hotel room back in 2007.

Little is known about the flamboyant Southern legend’s personal life since the time of his death.

Prior to his untimely passing, Pimp C spoke with Ozone magazine in numerous interviews as well as wrote for a controversial monthly column for Ozone entitled “The Chronicles of Pimp C.”

Not until now has the story been told of Pimp C, one of the greats of rap history.

Those interviewed by Julia Beverly include his UGK partner Bun B, Snoop Dogg, Three 6 Mafia, 8Ball & MJG, the Geto Boys, Master P, David Banner, Slim Thug, Paul Wall, Ice-T, Goodie Mob, Lil Keke, Z-Ro, Trae, Webbie, Mannie Fresh, and many more for the book.
