Rodney Bryce the legendary hip hop artist known as DJ EZ Rock of the duo Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock, became etched in stone in hip hop history with the release of their 80’s single “It Takes Two.”
Now, the hip hop community is grieving at the loss of the hip hop pioneer who died on Sunday at the age of 46.
The hip hop community poured out their condolences over social media sites Facebook and Twitter including hip hop icons DJ Red Alert, Biz Markie as well as Funkmaster Flex including others.
At the time of their single “It Takes Two,” the dance hip hop song peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Club Songs Chart and was also named on VH1’s 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop landing at number 37.
