Did BET Awards Find The Next Big Music Star In Memphis? Contestants Selected

As reported on MemphisRap.com, BET came to Memphis on Sunday to find the Next Big Music Star, and give them the chance of winning to perform before the 2012 BET Awards.

Contestants selected each hour had the chance to record in BET’s mobile recording studio and wrote or recorded an original song. Some of the contestants selected in Memphis during each hour included Anthony Moore, Brianna Jones, Lashonte Anderson, Terra Strong (Cincinnati) and a host of others.

Memphis contestant finalists will be going up against other talent from other cities where videos will be posted online by BET for everyone to vote for their favorite artist.

The grand-prize winner will have an opportunity to perform on 106 & Park pre-show before the BET Awards which airs on July 1, 2012.
