Grammy’s: The Show Will Go On

Producers of the Grammy Award show struck an interim deal with striking TV/film writers on Monday.

Producers of the Grammy Award show struck an interim deal with striking TV/film writers on Monday. Members of the writers guild, who have been on strike since November, will allow members to write the program for the show.

Producers worried that some celebrities would not show up because of picket lines, however, the deal also assures that the show, including pre-show activities, will not be disrupted by the strike.

Two major music unions came together in defense of the Grammy’s, which is said to have prompted the Writers Guild of America to reach the current interim agreement. The Grammy ceremony will take place February 10 in Los Angeles.
