T.I. may be King of the south, but Hip Hop Mogul Jay-Z landed at the top of the Forbes 2006 Hip Hop Cash King List with revenues of $34 million. Def Jam wasn’t the only company paying the rapper as he netted proceeds from his 40/40 club, his comeback CD Kingdom Come, and his stake in an NBA team, the NJ Nets.

Rounding out the top three were 50 Cent wit $32 million and P. Diddy with $28 million.

Also included on the list were super producers, Scott Storch, Timbaland and Pharell. Forbes and E! Entertainment TV will show a one-hour special about the list, which will premiere on Saturday, Aug. 18, at 6 p.m. ET. Check your local listings.
