Filming for Memphis’ own Hustle and Flow has began

(Memphis,TN) The filming for “Hustle and Flow” by Memphis’ own filmographer Craig Brewler began taping on July 9th, which is directed by John Singleton. Celebrity figures with starring roles in the movie include Ludacris, who has teamed up with film director John Singleton more than once (Boyz N Da Hood, 2 Fast 2 Furious), Big Momma’s House’s Terrence Howard and Barbershop’s Anthony Anderson.

Filming is expected to be shot in select locations in Memphis from Orange Mound to North Memphis over the next few weeks.
