Falcons Secure Losing Record Without Vick

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Joey Harrington unable to fill Michael Vick’s shoes. Falcon fans stay optimistic about the season and believes he just needs time to grow and adjust to his role.

After the Atlanta Falcons 27-20 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, there is no more question about whether or not the birds can function without its, now infamous, star quarterback Michael Vick.

Vick was recently suspended by the NFL after pleading guilty to illegal dog fighting charges in Virginia.

Quarterback Joey Harrington, who has started the first three games for the Falcons, seems unable to fill Vick’s shoes. The Falcons first loss this season came after a handful of minor mistakes against the Minnesota Vikings. The second loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars proved that the team lacked a strong quarterback and had an inconsistent offense.

Falcon fans, however, are still optimistic about the season saying that Harrington just needs time to grow and adjust to his role. The Falcons are 0-3 for the season. The team will play Houston at the Georgia Dome on Sunday.
