Rachel Dolezal TODAY Interview

Former NAACP chapter president Rachel Dolezal breaks her silence and says she identifies as black.

Dolezal, who was recently exposed as being a white Caucasian pretending to be black, says in a video interview with TODAY’s Matt Lauer, that she identifies as a black person.

Many didn’t know Dolezal has two Caucasian parents who adopted multiple black children so she has multiple black siblings.

Dolezal herself also has two black children – two sons who tagged along with her during her TODAY interview.

She also says she doesn’t understand why others are ‘whitewashing’ the work she’s done.
