90s Flashback Show: Salt N Pepa, Kid N Play & Young MC in Vegas

I Love The 90s Tour with Salt N Pepa, Young MC, more

What kind of things spring to mind when you think of the 90s? If your answers included Kenan & Kel and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air then they pretty much match up with mine, but there’s something else that screams 90s when I reminisce back to those years, and that’s the music icons that were larger than life during that era. From Salt N Pepa to Coolio, Young MC to Vanilla Ice, there were dozens of hip hop stars that took the world by storm. Anybody reading this with a smile on their faces will be thankful to hear that these artists from the 90s are back!

Well, for one night only. For a tour, actually, as they come together to team up during the I Love The 90’s event, which is traveling up and down the country over the coming months. The whole thing goes on until October and visits some of the best venues in the US, but the main one has to be the Las Vegas show that takes place at the Mandalay Bay Resort. If you never got to see these stars live during their heyday then now you finally get the chance, and this time they’re altogether in one huge show.

Chart-topping hits like ‘Push It’, ‘Ice, Ice Baby ‘,’Gangsta’s Paradise’ and ‘Shoop’ are synonymous with the era, and you can still get tickets if you’re interested in seeing these icons play live. Just make sure that you bring your dancing shoes, as this is a throwback concert that’s going to double up as a massive dance party. If you’ve been looking for the best ways to get back to enjoying those 90s rap classics just like old times then you won’t be able to do much better than this tour.

The Vegas show is certainly going to be one to remember, and hip hop aficionados will be able to make a weekend of it as they make use of the casinos, the pool parties and the great weather. Just keep in mind that you might do well to practice your roulette skills online before taking your hard earned money to the Las Vegas strip. You don’t want a 90s rap tour to be the reason that you have to take out a loan to pay your food bill!

If you’ve been looking for somewhere to bask in the glory of some of the greatest 90s hip hop hits then this is the perfect opportunity, and you’ll probably get to see a fair few of the fashion trends that were making headlines at the time. We’re talking track suits, bright colours and crazy hairstyles that’ll turn every event into one huge nostalgia-filled party. This is one not to be missed!
