Event: Plug In Memphis Expo and Grammy GPS at Stax in Memphis, TN

The Memphis Music Foundation will present Plug In Memphis: Indie Music Expo at the Stax Museum of American Soul Music from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on today, Oct. 1, 2011.

The event is designed to connect local musicians and music industry service providers.

Plug In Memphis will feature an exhibit area with booths representing all types of industry-related businesses from merchandisers, entertainment lawyers, promoters and publicists to recording studios, engineers and retailers.

Along with MemphisRap.com, other confirmed businesses attending Plug In Memphis include Beale Street Caravan, Ardent Studios, BMI Music, Eskridge and Eskridge Law Firm, Select-O-Hits and the Visible School.
